Emily Taylor Travel Fund – Autumn Meeting prizes
Several travel grants will be awarded to assist with attendance at a future meeting relevant to cardiology or cardiac surgery.
Awards are subject to the applicant being a member of the SCS and submitting a report to be presented at an SCS meeting and/or publication on SCS website.
Medical Student Prize
There will be two prizes (worth £250 each) awarded for the best medical student abstract presentation (oral and poster). These will be awarded to assist with attendance at a future meeting relevant to cardiology or cardiac surgery, a student elective, or for another educational purpose.
For all categories of prize there should be more than one submission for the prize to be awarded. In the event of a single submission for any given category it will be for the independent judging panel to decide whether that presentation is of sufficient quality to justify the award being granted.
