Welcome to the Scottish Cardiac Society website

The society is committed to procuring the best possible level of cardiac care for the Scottish population. It provides an influential forum for discussion and advice on the moving fronts in Cardiology with particular interests in enhancing the national network of specialist cardiac care, ensuring provision of high quality services and equity of delivery. Education is a cornerstone of our activities and audit a developing area of involvement. I hope you find our website informative. We are very receptive to comment and are happy to be involved in discussion on matters relating to healthcare in Cardiology.

Two recent Society developments include a widening of membership to include Allied Health Professionals working in the field of Cardiology and an increase in the travel grant funding available to members.  More information is available on the membership and grants pages.
